Reservation Policy


Reservations can be made for up to 6 guests, multiple table reservations for the same party will not be honoured.

Due to the limited storage space available in our cloakroom, we cannot accommodate suitcases or large bags and we can only accept small number of hand luggage.

Our dress code is Art smart
We ask our guests to dress with a sense of style and character - as one would when visiting an art gallery.
Beachwear, sportswear and immodest clothing are not permitted,
our management reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone we feel is inappropriately dressed.

The dress code for the three-Michelin-starred Lecture Room & Library is intended to uphold the spirit of the restaurant, as such, it requires guests to be well-dressed at all times.
Immodest dress, such as diaphanous fabrics that do not cover personal modesty, is not permitted.

Children at sketch
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We welcome children of all ages in the Gallery, the Glade, and the Parlour, and kindly ask that they are included in the total guest count when making a reservation. Please note that children are not allowed in the bars after 22:00.

Young guests aged 12 and over are welcome in the Lecture Room & Library as long as they dine from our regular menu. The Lecture Room does not offer a children's menu. The restaurant is unable to accept small children, and it does not have children's facilities. The Lecture Room wishes to respect all its guests experience.

We kindly ask for all prams and pushchairs to be stored in the cloakroom, this is to ensure the walkways clear for our other guests.

Dietary Requirements
Please notify us of any food allergies prior to the time of your reservation. Please note that we are unable to guarantee no trace of any allergen.
Afternoon Tea: Our chefs create specific allergen menus to suit a wide range of diets, specifically, sketch offers a choice of Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy-Free, Pescatarian, Nut-Free, and Gluten free menus. Please call to discuss your preference at least 48 hours prior to dining with us. Unfortunately, requests for specific requirements, substitutions or amendments cannot be honoured on the day of your arrival. Please do not hesitate to call us on 0207 659 4500 to assist with your reservation.

Dog Policy
Sketch welcomes small handbag sized dogs (under 10kg and less than 40cm in height) in the Parlour, Glade and the Gallery restaurant. We ask that your dogs are kept in their bags, on a lap or under the dining table.
Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times if they are not in their handbags. Pet food is not permitted therefore we ask that your dog is exercised, fed, watered and happy before they enter the building. Guide and emotional support dogs are permitted throughout sketch, including the Lecture Room and Library.
We ask that you make a note on your booking that you will be bringing your dog with you. A maximum of two dogs in one restaurant is permitted at any one time.

Cancellation Policy
Due to a high number of customers not attending their reservation without notifying us, we kindly ask for card details to secure the reservation.
In the event that a booking is not honoured in whole or in part, which includes reducing numbers, or is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, the cancellation fee stated below will be charged to the card provided;
