Clarity Amidst Chaos...

As we prepare for a further relaxation of the rules on 19th July it seems more confusing now than it was before. The government has told us that precautionary measures on face masks should be left to the individual and businesses to interpretate and I have no doubt there will be criticism whichever course we choose.

In June 2020, Sketch pioneered the installation of ionising air units to the restaurant's air flow system. The system can dramatically reduce viruses suspended in the air by 95%. I remain confident that we are doing everything possible to ensure Sketch is a safe environment for our customers and employees.

It is because of this that I must explain why we have made the revocation of compulsory mask wearing optional for our employees. You cannot imagine how difficult it has been, trying to explain dishes, having conversations with our customers, wearing them for long hours and despite providing cotton and silk fabrics some employees suffered painful skin conditions.

Alors, it is important we continue to move forward in a cautious but optimistic way and we will see what new challenges the coming months will bring. The one thing I can be sure of is that after 20 joyful years Sketch remains open at number 9 Conduit Street where we continue to offer delicious food, eloquent service and a window of happiness to each and everyone.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you, our loyal customers once again for the unwavering support you have demonstrated since our reopening - your belief in us makes me emotional and forever humble.
